Dr. Diana L. Christensen, the optometrist at Christensen Eye Care, makes it a policy to ensure that all staff members are up-to-date on the latest technology and techniques to make your visit as comfortable and effective as possible. As optometric technology changes, it is even more important to select an eye doctor who has all the right optometry qualifications and follows the latest developments in eye care.
Dr. Diana L. Christensen
Diana L. Christensen, O.D. received her undergraduate degree in Nutrition from the University of North Florida and her Doctorate of Optometry from Indiana University School of Optometry. Dr. Christensen is also completing a Master’s in Vision Science specializing in dry eye and contact lens research. She is a member of the American Optometric Association, American Academy of Optometry, and Indiana Optometric Association. Additionally, she is affiliated with community associations including Bloomington’s Stonebelt Society and is a member of Women of Vision, a professional organization.
Dr. Christensen has received academic awards for low vision case studies, contact lens research and ethical concerns in health care. She has presented research at the prestigious American Academy of Optometry annual meeting and has volunteered on two mission trips to Guanajuato, Mexico to perform eye exams.
Dr. Christensen and her husband, Chad, have identical twin boys. She enjoys spending all of her freetime with her 3 boys: new babies Conner and Tyler and her amazing husband, Chad.
